There was once a time, just a few months, where my best friend lived with me at Earth Sanctuary, along the Kabekona river (1855 Treaty Territory).
She was able to finally get her kids and we all lived together, figuring out life and our next steps.
Eventually, he found out- and she had to move - again.
But for those moments, no matter how brief, I did everything I could think of to create a Safe Place.
